Coming to you from the Caledonian, just below the Edinburgh Castle.
Well welll well, the last couple days in London went by very speedy. We took a lazy day and hung out with our pals at the hostel. Then we met up with Lindsay and checked out Kensington Gardens.

We saw the Princess Di memorial fountain, peter pan statue, loooooots of birds, and it was alll just very pretty.

We took the early morning bus to Edinburgh and travelled all day. Our hostel is called the Caledonian Backpackers. The building is very artsy, covered in murals, theres lots of fun stuff to do (wii, pool tables, bean bag cinema, bar, an awesome kitchen!, free wifi, and free breakfast!)
There's tons of really cool people and we happened to be in a room with 2 Canadians! Most of the people in our room are longtermers because they are going to school here to learn English. There are 3 Spanish guys in our room that are teaching us spanish in exchange for english lessons which is pretty awesome.
Now, we have become pretty good friends with Jo and Wade, the Canadians. As for touristy stuff, we've been taking it easy but here's what we've done: We went to the Elephant House Cafe, which is where J.k. Rowling wrote Harry Potter!!!!

We saw the National Museum and the National Gallery. We climb up Arthurs Seat to get an amazing view of the city with our friends (the Canadians and Dylan, from South Africa)

We've done a lot of walking around in the park.

AND today we went and took a peek at the Edinburgh Castle.
